Winter In Summer ????

The Summer has arrived.Temperatures are soaring, by 9.30 am in the morning the temperature shoots like our Sensex to the maximum making Life on the move a real challenge. For the next 2-3 months most parts of India are to witness Extreme conditions.

Air Conditioners are the answer to this sweltering Heat but comes at a running cost boosting up Power Consumption and increasing Monthly expenses by a Tall order.

Been wondering if there was a way to counter such a problem and to me the Walls of the Building both Inside and Outside hold some answers. The heat factor can be an account of how the Walls interact and react with the Weather ..NO kidding..but they can play a role in isolating the Heat Factor. What if we have Walls that can absorb Heat and release the heat for select type of Utilities. For example the Water Heaters or even Cooking can be Interesting applications.

Now Imagine if the Temperatures can be reduced by 4-5 degrees..Nano Paints designed to absorb heats and transfer the Heat to the Intended Applications can bring down the temperatures Inside the Rooms.

This means Homes and Future homes can be made more Eco friendly and Reusable; Smart Energy options provide better options for a Healthy living.

Needless to mention savings from such Heat transfer can reflect on the Electricity Bills month on month.

Before this technology is rolled out one must offer Humble Prayers to the SUN God for a cooler Summer.

The Music Player is Dead !! Long Live the APPStores....

Last evening I walked into a Electronic Store looking for a New Music Player, the Store had 3D Televisions, IPods, MP4 Players, Blue Ray Players but no music System. Having spent sometime myself I called for some assistance. A Smart looking young guy came up to me and asked “What Are you looking for Sir?"...A Good Music System..to which he replied yes we do have really good ones and escorted to me to a new section where I could see Great cute looking Speakers from Bose, B&O, Sony etc, Nice Sleek Amplifiers from the Denon's of the World. All Around I could see ,one interesting Advertisement flashing across..ALL IP and Internet Enabled. I am more used to looking at such stuff at a local computer store or while browsing for Computing Devices on the Web but never at a store exhibiting Amplifiers and World Class Speakers.

Rewind a few years and the lifecycle was to buy the latest CD and run home or play in the car to listen to the tracks. But ever since High Speed wireless networks have come to Earth to stay I realised that this lifestyle was changing. An Intelligent Smart Device similar in shape to what a Computer Mouse looks has taken centre Stage and when purchased, you get a sleek control Touchpad. The Game has changed. Laptops/Mobiles without battery:Can this be a reality!!! Go Greener..

Ofcourse I believe that Laptops/Mobile Devices can run much longer without the need to run for chargers for days. A Laptop running without power, a Mobile Phone running on Battery for a month with unlimited talktime, unlimited backup, how do they sound.Every such Device generates Heat while they run or while being in use. With the advent and progress we are making in Nano Technology this Idea is not far from reality. This idea deals with converting the Heat Energy into Electrical energy, and this energy will be stored by multiple nano capacitors which will discharge the electrical energy when the device is in use.The conversion to Electrical energy would be done by Nano Turbine which could be 1.5 cms in length, 1 cm in breadth and 1 mm in thickness. So whenever the Device is in use the heat generated would be fed to the turbine which would then generate the Electrical power and this shall be stored by Nano Capacitors. The Stored energy would be used by the Laptop Battery when the level in the battery dips below a set limit.So while you use the Laptop or Mobile the Battery is getting new charge.

Sounds like Toyata Prius..Not far from that reality would be this concept I guess.

Green Mobile - Unlimited Memory - Go Green

Why do People change mobiles quite often, either they lose it, or run short of
memory, look for new features..or simply want to keep up with others. While this is
good for the Mobile manufacturers but Not Good for the Green Revolution. Is Recyclying Mobile the answer to this problem..I dont think so...to Get Greener..to Get More Innovative..to become more User friendly...cant we Imagine a Mobile with Just a Web Browser that comes with basic Voice,Messaging Features but has Memory scalable to upto 100 GB.With a Virtual Cloud where all the Users applications and Data are processed and stored, such a Virtual Model for Mobile Users can allow them to browse their Applications and Data virtually from anywhere, Mobile Phone, Desktop,Airplane Backrest, Car or a Virtual Wall Panel.Just a browser and one can get connected and be served in the most user friendly manner.What such an idea can offer is a Niche way to introduce Seamless access to Unlimited Data Content and Applications as Users have to frequently change their Mobiles due to Storage limitations,Lesser Computing power and the ability to manage Data Volumes.
